This current platform intends to provide care for the arts field (artworks, artists, their publics) through the medium of writing and the practice of poetry from a feminist, queer, crip perspective. In the coming months, I will focus on experiences of blindness and visual impairment to explore practices of image description.
Between 2019 and 2022, Loraine Furter and I developped Intersections of Care , a research project on intersectional feminist modes of display and curating. Intersections of Care had a programme at Wiels, Brussels (2020-2021). We also assembled a beautiful collection of Guidelines of Care which keeps on evolving and travelling.
drama came briefly to existence in 2021 for the launch of Isabel Waidner's novel Sterling Karat Gold at Rile* books, Brussels. It was organized with curator, researcher and sociologist Greg Nijs.
